Hi everyone

I am in the process of trying to put together a ROTS Vader costume for celebration 6 this August & 501st membership. Could anyone possibly be able to get me pointed in the right direction so I can get it complete in time for all the fun in Orlando. I have registered a account for the SLD forums, but I am still waiting for them to approve the account.

Hi Matt. The SLD forums are definitely your best bet. They have great resources over there and a lot of guys willing to help.

There are a few Vaders here in Indiana, but only 1 RoTS Vader. He is in Ft.Wayne and goes by the screen name Morgue.

Now i just need my account to be verified. If anyone knows anyone there that can give them a nudge to make that happen I would be great full. I did try emailing the admins but my email got bounced back.

Welcome to the forum! Being a Tk I don't have much advice to offer for a Vader build but yeah, SLD I would imagine would be the best place to find everything you need. Be cool to see build pictures as you get going on it.

a quick update, i have been in touch with ID3052 over on the MWG forum and he has me pointed to where i will be getting my first few parts for my vader costume. i will make sure once and a while to get pics posted at both sites as i am able to.

UPDATE:

I managed to snag a RotS Vader helmet kit on ebay last night, as well as a leather 1 piece jumpsuit, and I am bidding on the chest/shoulder armor.

Just be careful with ebay items... most of the time they need a little work to be approved.
