SkylaFett and I would like to welcome you the new Star Wars Indiana forums! You will notice that there are now 4 new skins. The skin work was all done by SkylaFett. I gave him the tools and canvas and he did the rest. My job was to make sure all the server items and test forums worked. Teamwork at it's finest! http://planetsmilies.net/eat-drink-smiley-5170.gif

There are going to be some bugs. We know that. Please post suggestions here and we will work on them for you.

For you Breadcrumb people, there is a hack to add them or just press the "Backspace" key. :D

I agree Bill! I'm glad it's up and running sorry it took so long I was working with a program that I had never used before. Yes there will be bugs. I already see 2 but I don't think I'm going to be able to get to them today.

Enjoy!

The Forum looks better with FireFox than it does with IE. All the edges are rounded like what I did with the website with FireFox. I will have to look and see if this can be changed with IE.

The banner at the top now links to the web site home page!! This is some thing I have wanted for a long time!

Oops! This is Skyla sorry.

Excellent look! However, and I feel like a total arse for saying it, but I have two complaints/suggestions/ramblings...

1) Forums with read/unread posts: It's difficult to tell the difference in the colors of the notifier box, but that just could be my lousy low resolution monitor.

2) Rebel theme: Matt staring at me from the banner is just a LITTLE bit creepy. Just a little. Tad bit uncomfortable, it is.

Nice work, though!

+1 on being able to differentiate between the topics with new posts. On my computer can see it fine, but on my droid its a little hard to see. Is there a setting that I can use to change it?

The colors of the read and unread posts are one of the things I still need to change. In the test forum there were no new posts so I couldn't tell what it was going to look like til now. I will work on it and see what I can come up with.

As for Matt staring at you... well I know he is a creepy guy already and this just makes it worse. I have limited photos of MosEpa members This is one that I had and I originally decided that I wanted a Rebel Pilot theme and his was the best I had so if someone has something better I am all for it.

Ernie I don't have a web enabled phone so there is no way for me to tell what the forum looks like with one. Hopefully with the change I make you will be able to tell but of coarse I won't know if it works.

Ok so now when you chose a forum lets say Bloodfin News the threads with unread posts will be in Bold all read will be in regular font. Thats about as good as I can do at the moment. There is also a "New Posts" button that you can use as well.

You will notice that FB connect is now enabled on the forums. Feel free to use it.

Are there any other bugs yet?

I have addressed the New Posts Issue and just getting it to show in Bold is the best I can do right now. If I come across something that will allow me to change the color of new posts I will.

I agree with the above, but I think a large part of it is just getting used to the new look. Great job guys!

Why the HUGE empty space above the text when quoting someone and the huge space between the end of the text and the signatures?

Not sure I will look into it. Thanks!

I might just not be getting it, but after I log in I still only see the three interested in joining and feedback forums, and then I have to click on the forum tab to see the rest of them. I actually thought for a couple days that the forums were still down b/c I could only see the three forums with 0 replies in them. Am I missing something?

Your creepiness has creeped out the forums so bad they don't even want you on here. ;)

Any progress on this Jon? I foresee some of our threads reaching 10-12 pages (with minimal posts) b/c of this huge space.

Hey I just gained access to VB.org and I added the breadcrumbs at the bottom and fixed the extra space between the post and the sig lines. Let me know what you think.

Very Nice Jon!! I love the crumbs!! :D Though, the space still seems a bit large... but maybe it's just me.

Hey Jon and Bill! I seem to be getting a lot of instances of double posts lately. I'm not sure if it's a problem on my end or something on the server/software side.

There's Mike complaining again.... no really I have noticed you have had those but I havn't really noticed any one else having that problem I will do a little research and see if other forums have had the same problem.

Seems to be better as of late, so please don't rush.

Isn't working that much against some kind of labor law or something??
