Hey guys! This is Andrew from the Indy Ghostbusters. We've been hanging out with you at the RAM and in the dealers hall for the past three years or so and I have to say it's been a blast. Dallas suggested that I reintroduce myself on the forums since it's been awhile.

Every year we talk about putting together something Star Wars and joining officially, but up until now I haven't actually lived in Indianapolis and so it's been difficult to really get involved. This year I'd like to change that though.

I'd like to put together a Stormtrooper outfit and have it ready to go by Gencon next year, which seems doable. I have experience with tossing together props from wood and vacuum forming and did all of the lighting and sound wiring on my pack myself, so that isn't really daunting. I suppose the main difficulty would be in getting ahold of molds (and keeping my wife convinced that she'll let me do it ;)).

My buddy Dustin is also interested, but I'm not sure what his schedule will look like due to returning to school. Now that I'm out of grad school I'm ready to finally get around to all the fun that I missed when I was hitting the books, so expect to see more of me around the forums in the future!

There is a new(er) kick smurf video game for the consoles and PC that uses all of the original voice talent from the movie. I say movie, singular, because I refuse to admit that II actually happened.

Thanks for stopping by. Please let me know if you have any costume questions. Any one of us would be happy to give you some pointers.

I guess me blurting out a question was a little rude in comparison... so I want to take about 10 steps back and also say welcome.

I'm happily married and don't eat at Chik-Fil-A. Must've been someone else. I saw at least one other guy at the con on Friday who wasn't associated with our group. There have been more people showing up with junk packs with the new game coming out.

And thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. :) It's always a blast hanging out with you guys and I look forward to doing so again in the future.

Just beat the Ghostbusters game on my XBOX360 last night. It was a fun and long game.

I had an idea for a Ghostbusters / Star Wars costume that would be good for DragonCon or something.
Take Sandtrooper armor and paint it beige. Add a name plate that says TK Buster or something, add the Ghostbusters Logo on the shoulder and instead of a Sandtrooper pack use a Proton pack. On the belt of course have your meter and or trap. If you had four of them at a Con I think that would be cool. Plus I do not think it has been done before. Heck you could even make one up like it has been slimed!
