wanting to say hello

Hello!

I am Jon "CareTaker" Nagel (TI4884) of the Golden Gate Garrison, and I represent myself and Melissa "Red Hammer" Hillman. We're friends of Flygyrl Kim and Acro Robert, and had the pleasure of hanging out with a number of you Thursday (I think) night at Dragon*Con for a bit. Even though we were only there for a short time, we were made to feel welcome, and Bloodfin members we passed by later on in the Con were very kind and sweet to us as well.

Where we're unlikely to relocate to Indiana to affect a transfer to Bloodfin, we do want to swing by the boards now and again. We do have this odd dream of flying out there for a Bloodfin meeting, as we hear said meetings happen at the RAM, and we have such AWESOME memories of the RAM from CIII.

Thank you all again for your hospitality at D*Con, and the banana rum. :)

Can you believe these two want to travel all the way from California for one of our garrison meetings at The Ram?:eek:

It was truly wonderful to be able to spend time together with you both once more. Talking on-line or by phone is fun in it's own way but nothing compares with the time spent in each others presence. It's a shame that it only seems to happen once a year. This also goes for Don and Amy out on the East Coast! I'm really glad that my friends from out of state can feel as welcomed in Bloodfin as I do. It's a very special 501st garrison and not just in the One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest sort of way.:rolleyes:

Hey Jon and Melissa- my boyfriend Nathan and I had the same experience with the bloodfin folks at D*C -- they have to be the most hospitable garrison ever!

if you guys are going out to Indy for a meeting at the RAM could you stop off in Colorado and pick us up so we can come too?! lol ;)

i will also be looming on these boards from time to time to ward off Bloodfin withdrawl-- or is it to feed my Bloodfin addiction, I can't tell ;)

and DonJ - WE should TOTALLY make a patch - an "adopted by bloodfin" patch!!

All of you rock and I just think how it is amazing that wearing plastic can bring such wonderful people into my life;)
