Well I guess there comes a time when a boy becomes a man and dawns his white armor. Soon i hope to accomplish this goal. Anyway I was refered here by Captain Jack Sparrow and a Random trooper at gencon today! (See Pic.)

EDIT: (Worst pose ever on my part ._.; )
Ive never done anything in costumeing before. But if I am going to i might as well jump in ya?I bought a Clone trooper helmet the other day at kmart and wearing it around town and what naught was probably the most fun ive had in along time.
So With that said, Im interested in begining the process of building my own armor. Where do i start?

Ive been lurking the forums for a few days and reading up on difficultys as well as browseing around some other sights, i came up with a little more info on what im looking todo.
I Want to start out basic since i have no modeling/costumeing experience, so i think a standard TK will suffice my needs. Then maybe later on adding the accsesories to go to a sandtrooper.
What all will i need besides the basic armor and helm?
So far i think:
Neckseal, undersuit, boots, gloves, Holster, blaster.
Does that sound about right?
Edit: I know i sound green and really eager. But i am 100% that i want to pursue this hobby. I just dont want to make any errors in the process and dont want to build my armor then find out its not up to snuff. So Any advice at all, please feel free to message me here or on IM

An excellent place to begin your quest to become a Stormtrooper is the official 501st stormtrooper detachment, First Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment website:
http://www.whitearmor.net/
Here you will gain a wealth of knowledge including contact info for those who make, sell, & trade armor.
If you are thinking about becoming a Sandtrooper, the official 501st detachment is the Mos Eisley Police Department and the site can be found at:
http://www.mepd.net/
Please do your research between the two costumes because there are a number of differences.
If you need more help, feel free to PM me. I will help you get the info you need.
