I have noticed that a few people have uploaded "Profile Pics" and not their "Avatar".

Click on "User CP" at the top
Click on "Edit Avatar" on the left side
Choose "Use Custom Avatar" and the "Browse" to your pic and click "Save Changes"

It can only be 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB. I am going to up it when I find the setting. :D

I don't even have the option to browse for avatars. All I have is one radial button that says "Do not use an avatar."

I think it's an Imperial conspiracy ;)

I also saw that you weren't allowing images to be put in signatures. Will this be permanent as well?

The max for avatar's is now 100 x 100 and everybody should be able to upload their avatar now.

We are allowing images to be put in signatures now as well.

You should have gotten an email. I have not heard of anybody else having a problem. You might check your junk or spam folders.

I am posting this for Ken, because he seems unable to.

As you can see I have registered for the forums.
I can view all the forums.
I can post in this section and the members only section. I can not post in any other section of the boards however.
I have read the news section and the report a bug section.
I never got an email from the forums saying I was registered. (I did check spam folders)
Most of the forum I get this exact message :

Court you should see a edit button at the bottom right of each post.

When you edit your post you have to do a few things. First hit the edit option on the post you wish to edit. Then once you have done that and edited the portion you wish to admin, then hit the "save" button at the bottom. Do NOT hit the edit button as this will do nothing useful. Hope this helps.

Banner images have to be linked to a website and put in your signature line.

Asok, who's the board admin, has been notified of the spam posts and will be deleting them when he gets home. He's been working on cleaning out the spambots that have registered and is blocking their IP addresses.

I'm having trouble staying logged in when I'm using my cell phone. I checked "keep me logged in" but if i set my phone down for more than a few minutes and try to go to the next page i have to log in again. Ebay and yahoo email keeps me loged in for @ least a week. I use my cell as much as the computer. Is there a setting on the site that can be changed?

There should be a check box saying keep me logged in. If that does not work, it could just be how your browser on your phone is setup.

I've notice that there are quite a few avatars larger than 80 by 80 pixels. Do you have to be a member or in good standings before one can add an avatar that exceeds 80x80? Just curious, and no big deal as I was only going to pimp my profile a little ;)

As for the banner in your signature, I don't know off the top of my head. You could have somebody else host the file and then have the image in your signature.

For example

You will need to take out the spaces between the [ and ]

Weird little bug I just noticed. I'm using the default red/gold/tan theme and the latest version of Firefox. When I click on the Online Users link at the bottom of the main page, the list loads up but the background and text are all black. The results page looks like a big black rectangle - text is only visible via highlighting.
